How Much Should you pay for a Puppy?
Let's try to understand, why in one place the puppy costs 1000 dollars, and in other 3000?
Let's take for a starting point – the low price for puppies.
I do not understand, why people are not suspicious about the low price? If you buy the car, an apartment or something expensive and suddenly you find cheaper price, than in other places, really will it not itrigue you? Then why you are not guarded with such price for puppies? Each responsible kennel owner knows, what is it to get and grow up the top litter. Health of the dam, her maintenance during pregnancy: high quality vitamins, top grade food. Payment are viscous. Cultivation of the litter: top food, vitamins, worming, inoculations, ear cropping, tai docking. You will not believe how much the puppy at one and a half month eats and if to increase it times in 4-5,how about services of the high cost quality veterinary? All this doesn't costs cheap. And physical work: to clean, wash, walks and many other things. I would like to inform to the buyer, that cultivation of puppies is big work, both physical, and moral. And will not speak about material expenses. Very often "breeders" who have tied the dog with a neighbor's dog which in 45 days already try quickly to get rid of the puppies, selling them under the low price.Whether it is necessary to be surprised ,when in time the puppies that have not been developed, grown up correctly will develop problems? Certainly, there are cases when puppies sold with the low price in connection with death of the relative, family problems.... But also in this case seldom puppies grow in as a high quality dog, since more often in a complex situation ,there is not enough time for cultivation of the puppies. It would be wise to remember a simple truth "Avaricious pays twice".
Now about very expensive dogs, the prices on which reach $3000.00
If to assume, what in our breed average cost of the puppy is 1,500.00 then why are there prices in 3 times above ??
We can find some reasons. The most probable explanation is breeding. Cost of travel with hotel room expense can reach 1500 dollars. Plus the stud fee is not cheap, which reaches the average cost of the puppy, and sometimes much more expensive. In this case the kennel owner obviously is excellent breeder, other wise why would he travel the distance just to breed the dog? Usually and puppies from such breeding are never sold to just anyone but sell only with a condition of exhibition career. In general if you can and wish to purchase the puppy for such price, don't be too lazy to find out from the seller, by what such high cost is caused. If you will not hear reasonable explanations in the answer you can safely stop the conversation.
The majority of kennel owners sell puppies for not underestimated, and not under the overestimated prices.
It it is simple to explain. Puppies of the Central Asian sheep-dog cost on the average from $1,500 up to $2,000.
We do not sell puppies to people, which do not presume superfluous expense for a dog ( call the doctor, an extra toy, a trinket, treats) God forbid if something happens with a dog, and this person is unable to take care of it. Usually these dogs are EUTHANIZED. We ask the future owners to report constantly about a dog, to send photos, to bring the puppy. In case of need we may assist with exhibitions, training, questions of feeding.
Presently the dog is a luxury, which should only allow that person who can provide it with all that is necessary!
